Katie received her B.A. from Long Island University-Brooklyn Campus and her J.D. at Saint Louis University School of Law. At Saint Louis University School of Law, Katie concentrated in tax. Before co-founding Tierney & Westerfeld LC, Katie represented creditors in various real estate actions. Katie decided that her experience with real estate and representing creditor's interests in bankruptcy gave her unique insights that she could utilize while representing consumers in bankruptcy actions. Katie is proud of her community and looks forward to years of service to the residents of St. Charles County and the surrounding region. Katie is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Bar Association of St. Charles County.
Katie and her husband Andrew reside in Saint Charles County with their daughter and two dogs Holly and Daphne. When she is not in the office, Katie enjoys attending and watching St. Louis Cardinals games, entertaining friends and family, gourmet cooking and is an avid football fan.
Katie was one of the co-authors to "A Guide to Successor Liability Laws" which was published by State Tax Notes.
